This weekend I published my personal video highlights form the PDC2008 on YouTube. I took four of the movies straight from my Sony CyberShot camera, the fifth video is a fast paced slide show of all the pictures I took during the PDC. I created this video using Adobe Premier 4.0 Elements.
Figure 1: Klaus with Channel 9 guy
Get ready for a breathtaking ride.
Don Box and Chris Anderson are teaching Windows Azure how to say Hallo and give the cloud access to their machine's processes.
Microsoft research is working on a programming language for kids. Very impressive. Looks more like a game than a programming environment. My kids got very interested in it when they were watching these videos. They asked: "How do you play this game?".
The first video is a little teaser that Microsoft Research produced.
The second movie is a little tutorial that teaches you how to play Boku.
Another one of the Microsoft Research toys. This takes the Surface technology to its next level.
The PDC is as always a great way to recharge your coding batteries. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the cool new stuff.
